Season Summary
The boys came into the season with high expectations once again. With the implementation of the new Cup/Plate tournament format, the boys could test their skills against all 3 KAIAC divisions. The guys only loss during the regular season came at home against SFS, while Coach Johnny was out of town.
They came into the Cup Tournament the top seed, but it would not be an easy road to the championship. In round 1 they faced a tough KIS team, who gave them a run for their money at the end of the match. But the boys pulled off the win 3-2. The semi-final match came against host team Dalton. The boys had to come back to beat the home team 3-2. The biggest challenge was facing Chadwick in the championship game. Although it was a contentious match from start to finish, the Chadwick guys pulled off the upset, beating the Guardians 1-0.
Despite this finals loss, the boys had a great season, continuing to improve in the fall ACSC tournament and grow in strength in the spring against tough competition.
