Season Summary
The 17-18 season was a season full of expectation for the boys, with a lot of returning experience, with seniors Pablo Yuste and Tommaso Pespani. In their senior campaign, the guys put together a fantastic season. After a couple of early season losses, the guys pulled together to go on a 9-game winning streak to close out the season, including an away win at SFS.
At ACSC, the boys fought hard throughout the tournament. Their only 2 losses came against a very strong Grace squad, in pool play and then in the bracket. They faced Grace once again in the championship game and overcame the previous losses to defend the championship and bring home the banner back-to-back. The guys also cleaned up on the awards, taking Best Setter (Pablo), Best Passer (Tommaso), and MVP (Noah).
At KAIAC the guys had a bit of a let down, ending up in 3rd for the tournament. All-around, it was another great year for the volleyball boys.
