2005-06

The Guardians steadily improved their record every year as the core of the team remained throughout high school.  This core, who all were a part of the team for at least 4 years, included Minho Seo, Charles Lee, Andrew Lee, and Ryan Park.  This squad, led by senior captain Phillip Han, improved the team’s record from the previous year to 9-7, which placed them 4th in KAIAC.  Significant achievements this year were Ryan Park, as an 8th grade #1 seed, ended with a 7-7 individual record and both doubles teams had winning records (Minho and Stephen Yoon, 10-5; Andrew Park and Eugene Lee, 9-4).  While the team’s season record was good, they continued to struggle once the KAIAC tournament came around.  This was the first year that ICS-S hosted the boys’ tournament; however, only the 2nd doubles team of Andrew and Eugene advanced to the 2nd round of their bracket.
