Season Summary
While the team dynamic started out rocky, it steadily improved throughout the season. The boys' players really enjoy playing tennis and Coach Bridgeman enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm for the game. Even after getting destroyed in a match, they immediately jumped right back onto the courts and started rallying with each other.
As for the team results, the team won four games and came in 4th place in the KAIAC conference. Overall, it was a positive season because 7 of the 8 players were underclassmen.
The end of the season was a busy time with directing the KAIAC tournament at SFS and participating in the Far East tournament in Japan. At Far East, the Guardians won the combined boys’ and girls’ championship for division 2.
