2015-16

Season Summary

The boys tennis team had a strong turnout of players for the 2015-16 season, with three freshmen, two sophomores, three juniors, and one senior. As they only lose one player to graduation, the guys will be well situated to have a strong and growing team next season.

One of the main focuses of Coach Smith this season in his first year, was on getting the doubles teams to be more aggressive, and utilizing a serve and volley attacking approach to their games. By the end of the season the boys were starting to see progress in this area. Other areas that of focus for next season are fitness, and more strategy about finding an opponents weakness and making them try to beat you with their weakest shot.

Although the guys had a 3-7 regular season, there is confidence that they can be a contender for at least a top three finish next season.
