Season Summary
The Swim Team finished their season in exceptional form at the KAIAC championships. Armed with tapered and hairless bodies both the girls and boys teams out performed their season expectations at the KAIAC Championships. Combined the team went from 4th place in the regular season to a 2nd place finish at the championships once again upsetting KIS and SIS by a narrow margin. The boys team had a strong KAIAC championships that was highlighted by a surprising school record in the 200 freestyle relay (the last race of the championships). Averaging 26 sec per swimmer, Edward Park, Danny Kim, Justin Oh, and Grant Lee swam the 200m in an impressive 1:46.58. A huge shout out to our senior Kenneth Yim who finished his swimming career with a PR in the 50 fly ranking him the 2nd fastest in YISS history.
