Greetings Ensemble students and families!
Happy December! Well, almost... :o) I’m looking forward to seeing the group back tomorrow morning! Here are a few things you need to know as we look ahead to our concert next week:
IMPORTANT DATES & TIMES
Next Tuesday, Dec. 4th (during school) 8:00-8:55 TECH in Auditorium ***Please make EVERY EFFORT to be here on time & head straight to risers!
Friday, Dec. 7th: 7:30am Call for 8:30am Assembly (ARRIVE EARLIER to drop stuff)
6:30 pm Call for 7:00pm Concert
Tuesday, Dec 11th Christmas Potluck Brunch Party during class 8:15- 8:55!
WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD WEAR
Caroling clothes are the look of choice for the evening concert. RED & BLACK IS BEST! Jeans are fine. Please avoid large logos, anything distracting. Feel free to wear hat, scarf, festive winter attire, etc. for our Ensemble only selections (not “How Could It...”, nor “Hallelujah Chorus”). School clothes are fine for the morning assembly.
HELP NEEDED (Please reply to me if you can assist)
One early bird parent at the side red doors early Friday 12/7 morning 7:10-7:35am, letting students into the building, directing them to lockers; then risers.
One strong parent for the Fri 12/ 7 morning & evening performances, to keep Ensemble in the hall quiet (while Chorale sings) and cue their entrance back to the stage.
Finger breakfast treats/ snacks/ fruit for our Christmas Brunch during class, Tuesday, Dec. 11th (after concert).
PERFORMANCE PICTURES & VIDEO will be available after the concert on our music website, thanks to Marissa Coleman, Jessica Jordan, and Jim Lester. We thank you!
Thanks for your prayers as we walk into these weeks ahead. I’m excited to see what the Lord has in store. May our mighty God protect and provide for each of our students and families. And may He be glorified in all we sing, say and do!
