12-10-14 Mid-Week Update/ Friday Details

Good afternoon Chorale!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! God bless y’all for your efforts in getting your students to school so early. We used every moment of our time together. This Chorale group continues to amaze me. They were so attentive. I am truly enjoying each moment together! All the 5th & 6th graders continued rehearsing until 9:50am. God is so gracious. I was pleased with what I heard. We are one tired bunch, but much was accomplished. Our WHCS music students rock!

FRIDAY IS THE BIGGY! Our schedule is copied below for your reference (no changes).

CHORALE COSTUME REMINDERS!

FRIDAY MORNING: NO CHORALE SHIRTS/ NO BIBLE COSTUMES (Unless you’re a main character in David’s Dynasty)

FRIDAY NIGHT: “Bible times” costumes IN A BAG- labeled with your name. This bag needs to be delivered to your classroom BEFORE reporting to the Music Room at 6:30. Arrive at night WEARING YOUR CHORALE UNIFORM. After Chorale performs, your costume bag will be waiting for you in line with your class.

SCHEDULE FRIDAY MORNING

ARRIVE 7:45ish to put everything upstairs

8:00AM BE ON THE RISERS

Come warmed up, through the front doors, having chatted a lot already! We will NOT be in Chorale T-shirts but regular school clothes for the assembly. Please save fresh Chorale shirts & special outfits for the evening concert. (unless you are a main character). We have little time to address any last minute changes & details. I beg you not to be late today. Please arrive early to get backpack & coats upstairs BEFORE reporting to the auditorium. The all-school assembly starts at 8:30am SHARP. Here is the full morning schedule:

7:45-8:00 Arrive after singing in the car/everything to lockers/warm up

8:00-8:10 SOUND CHECK ON RISERS (& Ensemble)

8:15 *Bathroom, Check in with teachers & return

8:25 *Everyone in start positions (Chorale on risers/ Ensemble backstage)

8:30-9:10 ASSEMBLY (FYI, we will perform ONE Chorale song)

FRIDAY EVENING CONCERT

6:30PM CHORALE/ ENS WARM UP in Music Room *Bags upstairs 1st!

Auditorium Doors open

7:00PM CONCERT

Then..............PAR-TAY HEARTY next Tuesday! (Dessert served)
