4-6-14 Dates, Costumes & Other News!

Good afternoon folks!

It’s Chorale crunch time! I can hardly believe it’s already here. Please keep us in your prayers this week as we push towards our rapidly approaching performance date. Three BIG dates, a costume reminder, and updates for you today-

IMPORTANT DATES:

(This week fyi- All rehearsals are during the school hours)

Tuesday, April 15th EXTENDED LENGTH AND MANDATORY

TECH REHEARSAL AFTER SCHOOL 3:00-5:00pm*

(Wear Chorale T-shirts to school or bring to practice)

Tuesday, April 22nd MANDATORY AFTER SCHOOL RUN THRU 3:00-4:00pm

(No T-shirts today/ keep clean for tomorrow)

Wed., April 23rd 7:30 AM ON STAGE FOR PICTURES & RUN THRU

8:30-9:15am MORNING PERFORMANCE (No evening show)

Lunch PAR-TAY! ***Lunch, Drinks and Dessert provided!

COSTUMES:

We will need to rehearse with Chorale shirts at the TECH Rehearsal, next Tuesday, April 15th. But there is NO NEED to bring black pants for the rehearsal. Students will, however, wear black pants, black shoes and their Chorale T-shirts for the morning of our performance. Please note: Do not have your student wear long sleeve shirts underneath. Stage lights are hot and we want a uniform look. Other costume additions (flags, hats, band sashes, scarves) will be provided. Chorale parent, Sara Golsan continues to bless us with her costume designs and production. Many, many thanks to you, wonder woman!!!

OTHER NEWS:

Along with Sara Golsan, Esther Godaert and Clay Swanson are also putting in many hours these days with props, set, sound & lighting, and rehearsals. Please join me in offering our sincere gratitude & thanks! Our musicals would never happen without the time and talents of these three people. God bless each of you!

Cupcakes, anyone? I have fabulous cupcake wraps and toppers that match our musical lunchtime partyware for our kids. Would anyone like to bake & put 50 cupcakes together for the day of the musical, please? I will gladly reimburse you and call you my new best friend.

Feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I check email most evenings and over the weekends as well. On this Sunday afternoon, I am prayerfully looking forward to these next couple of busy weeks. Your kids are bringing some great enthusiasm to our extra rehearsals. They are talented, creative, energetic, and often hysterical! Love ‘em to pieces!
