Good Morning Chorale parents!
BUSY WEEK #2 IS HERE!
Below you will find details regarding this week, Dec. 3-7th, specifically Wednesday & Friday. Clay and I could also use quite a few helping hands for Friday night. Please email us if you’d be willing to help. Thank you troops!
Wednesday, Dec. 5th 7:30am BEFORE SCHOOL - AHHHHH! I KNOW, RIGHT?
I’d like to explain why this rehearsal is so important. We need to re-set our riser formations, practice getting on & off, set the microphones, set the lights, change our order of songs and fine tune a few changes for our assembly and evening performances. Thanks ahead of time for making this early morning sacrifice. Please have your students enter early through the north school doors between the gym & auditorium and be ON THE RISERS by 7:30 sharp!
Friday Morning, Dec. 7th 8:00am ON THE RISERS. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER
Kids need to come warmed up, through the north doors, having chatted a lot already. We will NOT be in Chorale T-shirts, but regular school clothes for the assembly. (Please save fresh Chorale shirts for the evening concert). We have only a little time to check sound and address any last minute details. I beg you not to be late today. Please arrive earlier than the sound check to put backpacks & coats away BEFORE reporting to the auditorium! Here is the full morning schedule:
7:40-8:00 Chorale arrives to put everything upstairs
8:00 CHORALE ON RISERS SOUND CHECK
8:30-9:15 ASSEMBLY starts with Chorale singing on the risers
Friday Evening, Dec. 7th 6:30pm WARM-UP & CONCERT
6:20-6:30 Chorale arrives dressed in T-shirts & black
6:30 CHORALE WARM UP in Music Rm
Auditorium doors open/ Group & classroom prayer times
7:00 CONCERT
HELP NEEDED FRIDAY EVENING
- Two folks to chaperone Chorale & lead their prayer time before concert, while I’m with classes upstairs
- Multiple dads needed to assist with tearing down risers after concert. Please email clay.swanson@whcs.org if you plan to help.
- Many hands after concert return of props to music room and building offices
THANKS EVERYONE! HAVE A GREAT START TO YOUR WEEK!
