9-27-18 Chorale Update & Reminders

Good afternoon friends! A few Chorale updates for you~

Your kids are fabulous!

We’ve had a great week. I love the energy and sound our 52 members bring. Rehearsals continue next week at lunch time (boys lunch rehearsals changed to Wednesdays, since they already miss morning recess on Thursdays due to late start). Along with our short rehearsals, please remind your kids that they need to be listening to their cds. Excellence unto the Lord is our goal!

You’re fabulous too! Next After School Rehearsal & T-shirt Day is Oct.23rd

Big thanks to you for the swift pick up Tuesday after school. I am grateful for your helpful emails in regards to special places students needed to go, and carpool pick up by the red doors went pretty smoothly. Please continue to let me know of any special pick-up arrangements. Thanks so much for helping to keep our kids safe. The next after school rehearsal is Tuesday, October 23rd. That’s also our day to premiere our new shirts by wearing them to school and take an official group photo. There will be a great sea of red swag throughout the halls! Chorale shirts also count for Spirit Wear days :)

Concert Date- Friday, December 7th

Our concert will open with both special groups, Chorale & MS Christmas Ensemble, followed by all 5th graders. This festive evening program of celebration generally runs one hour. We will also perform an assembly (shortened to approx. 40 minutes) that morning for our student body.

Black Pants & Shoes

Both girls and boys will need black pants to be worn with Chorale t-shirts at the evening WHCS Christmas Concert. Nice black tennis shoes are fine. Please also have your child in black socks or tights :) Students will be in regular school clothes for our morning assembly. That night, members are encouraged to wear their Chorale outfits for the entire evening concert, as all participating 5th thru 8th grade students will be in red & black.
