FRIDAY FUN FOR FIFTY ONE!

That’s right! Fifty-one 5th & 6th graders are singing & dancing with joy to honor our Lord! We have had

a great first full week of rehearsals. Thanks for your prayers and support. The next few weeks are rather

low-key, as our rehearsals will only be held during lunch recesses. Our next COMBINED AFTER SCHOOL

REHEARSAL IS TUESDAY, OCT. 25th. Please make that date a priority as we will be fine tuning a lot of

music and doing some major choreography.

After school care is available for Chorale siblings, or members who need care after rehearsal ends

(once a month). Sibling care is $7.00 until 4:00pm. Care until 5:30 is $12.00. Please contact Nancy

Howell, nancy.howell@whcs.org for information. Please be mindful that students are not allowed to be

unattended on campus. Safety first!

Rehearsal cds-please encourage your child to use and abuse them. Seriously. Our short, fast and furious

17 minute lunch rehearsals are simply not enough. Our music folders stay at school. Occasionally, I will

send home lyric sheets & ask for specific songs to be memorized by specific dates.

T-shirts have been ordered. I will let you know when they arrive. I have asked the group to save

them until Tuesday, November 13th, first official Chorale T-shirt Day & AFTER SCHOOL COMBINED

REHEARSAL! That means that kids are allowed to wear them proudly to school all day & to rehearsal!

Otherwise, please keep your student’s shirt as a “special” article of clothing. We will be wearing them

for Washington Square, our evening Christmas concert and any other possible off campus events

throughout the year.

Black pants are needed for all Chorale members. Black socks and shoes are the footwear of choice

(really nice black tennis shoes, without neon logos are fine for boys). This uniform look is brilliant on

stage. We want to represent Christ and West Hills Christian School well!
