2-20-15 Two things, Pirate Families!

Good afternoon!

Two important items on the agenda for today:

1. After School Rehearsal is next Tuesday, Feb. 24th, 3:05-4:00

2. Parent/ Child encouragement needed

Rehearsals are rolling along, step by step. Although we are right on schedule, there is still much to rehearse. I would really appreciate a full house next Tuesday afternoon. Having more than our rushed 15 minutes at lunch is so beneficial. Thanks so much for making this once a month commitment a priority.

Things are about to get real interesting as we move into the more visual parts of our performance. I’d appreciate your prayers specifically as we begin to make decisions configuring the production with so many students, building out the ship-stage, sorting out blocking, choreography, costuming options and issues. May God be glorified not only in the final product, but in the whole process as well!

Lastly, please encourage your son or daughter to “do the work” (practicing lyrics & dances at home) as unto the Lord. Lyric sheets have been given out and are also available on the website here. As a group, we are at that scary point of knowing songs “well enough” to muddle through, but not near our performance standards. God is worthy of our very best efforts! Parents, your input into this process is vital. I appreciate your efforts in helping me communicate this to our budding stars. We are at the point when we need to make the choice to be excellent. Our goal is to be our best for Him.
