9-18-15 Great CHORALE News!

Good afternoon Chorale parents!

FIRST- THE FACTS:

* There are 70 Chorale members already!

* Lunch rehearsals continue next week with 6th graders back!

* This coming Tuesday, September 29th is our first monthly after school rehearsal, 3:05-4:00 pm!

* I’m so excited to have this huge group performing for Jesus!

NOW- THE IMPORTANT, IMMEDIATE DETAILS:

*Girls rehearse at lunch recesses on Mondays; boys at lunch recesses on Wednesdays. The 5th graders started off with a bang this past week. Now our 6th graders have returned and we are ready to begin full swing together!

*Again, this Tuesday, September 29th is our first COMBINED rehearsal, AFTER SCHOOL, 3:05-4:00 p.m. We will use every minute we have, and I will finish right at 4:00 sharp.

*Chorale members will be dismissed and directed to the red doors on the north side of our building, between the auditorium and gym. We will load your cars with these budding stars at the steps, a la carpool style. For safety reasons I will not be dismissing students to walk thru the parking lot.

*I would like to thank you even now for being on time for pickup. Students who are not picked up in a timely matter will be checked into After School Academy, resulting in a small charge. Chorale students need to be supervised after rehearsals if staying on campus for any amount of time. They may not be left unsupervised to watch games or play on the playground. Thanks ahead of time for emails regarding plans for your students to drive home with another family or to be “handed over” to another parent supervisor. Your child’s safety is my concern.

*I cannot express to you how important these few once-a-month after school rehearsals are. A handful of minutes at lunch is simply not enough. Thank you for making this monthly commitment a priority. Our goal is to honor the Lord with excellence and I so appreciate your sacrifice of time and effort! For His glory!

*Cds were given out to 5th graders and 6th graders who came back to school on the bus yesterday. If your student needs one, they may snag one in the music room.

* I am awaiting confirmation that we will be performing at Washington Square Mall, Thursday, December 3rd at 6:00p.m. This date is already on your schedules tentatively, and I will let you know asap when it is confirmed.
