Good evening Winnie the Pooh families!
Bravo! The kids had FOUR really great shows. I was happy with each performance and the incredible response we continue to receive! Teachers, staff, families, guests from afar, preschool kiddies and prospective WHCS families were delighted. This cast can be proud of doing the work, staying on schedule (in spite of snow & flu days) and getting it done to God’s glory. It was a delight to watch our older students- my, how they have grown up in so many ways. And our 4th & 5th musical “rookies” rocked it! The efforts and teamwork of this cast and parents paid off and the bar remains high for future productions. Bravo to both your children and to you parents alike!
Your sacrifices both big & small are so appreciated. Having your students on time, and for full rehearsals was so helpful. Thank you for sacrificing convenience for your child’s success. Huge bunches of thanks and high fives to our many parent volunteer teams and individuals. I see you. I appreciate you! The show would not have happened so well without so much effort from everyone.

Still to come are our DVD keepsakes. The deadline for DVD orders is this Wednesday, May 1st. We are not licensed to post our show, but we did purchase the legal rights to to make available a recording to our families for home use only. The dvd will include the full show, a short recap, as well as individual student photos, group photos, backstage and cast party photos. What an incredible keepsake. This Thursday morning, May 2nd, 8:00am- 9:00am is our CAST PARTY! Students will be celebrated into the Auditorium at 8:00am sharp, not before :O) Warm cinnamon rolls, sausages, and fruit cups will be served for breakfast. Traditionally activities will fill our last time together and takeaways will be given. Please respond to this email if you would be willing to send in a large bowl of bite-sized mixed fruit (four folks sending in 9 cups each should do it). I will be most happy to reimburse you! Also, please feel free to send in anything for with your child who has special dietary needs.
It’s a joy to work with your precious kids. Their kindness to one another this year has been a treat to watch. God bless you all for your support and prayers. Your kids mean the world to me. Again, thank you parents for all you’ve done. Next year? It’s the question of the day :) Excellence as unto our Lord continues to be our goal. Please join me in prayer that God will reveal what is His best for us in the future. To Him be the glory~
