Chorale & 7/8 Ensemble News of the day!

Good morning parents! After last night and the flurries this morning, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! YIPPEE! Thank you for getting the troops out to Washington Square. I was very pleased with our groups’ performance. I was even more excited at the way they adapted to some on-the-spot changes and circumstances. Bravo! Special thanks to you prop moms and those of you taking pictures and videos. I will hopefully be able to share those with everyone next week. To God be the glory, great things He has done!

REMINDERS about THIS SUNDAY, DEC 8th – Wheel to Walk at the Airport Sheraton:

1. Students need to be dropped off between 12:50-1:00pm at the front entrance of the hotel,

8235 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97220.

2. Students should arrive dressed in their concert black pants and Chorale t-shirts. Jr High in their festive school color wear.

3. A gentle reminder that we are unable to facilitate drivers & waiting families in the hotel. Thankfully, there’s plenty of activity, shopping and food to be found moments away at Cascade Station.

4. Your child will be escorted in by a power mom chaperone. We are scheduled to sing between 1:25-1:45. Due to the nature of this type of event, our actual performance time may vary by a few minutes.

5. Between 1:45-1:50ish, we should begin loading up our students car-pool style, back again at the front entrance to the hotel. Thanks so much ahead of time for your cooperation and grace in this matter.

6. I’m aware that this performance comes with a price to family time and I want you to know how much that is appreciated. Again, may we represent our Lord Jesus with excellence, and may He be glorified as we serve and sing.

Fri, Dec. 13 8:00am BEFORE SCHOOL ON RISERS - ARRIVE EARLIER!

8:30am ASSEMBLY

6:30pm WARM UP IN MUSIC ROOM * Auditorium Doors Open

7:00pm CONCERT
