Good afternoon friends! A few Chorale updates for you~

Your kids are fabulous!

We’ve had a great week. I love the energy our 67 members bring. Rehearsals continue next week at lunch time. Please remind your student they need to memorize “Sing We Noel” asap. They have purple lyric sheets and cds for Chorale. On that same cd is our 5/6 Christmas Concert music as well. Excellence unto the Lord is our goal!

You’re fabulous too! Next After School Rehearsal & T-shirt Day

Big thanks to you for the swift pick up last week after school. I’m grateful for the helpful emails in regards to special places students needed to go, and carpool pick up by the red doors went pretty smoothly. Thanks for helping me keep our kids safe and accounted for. The next after school rehearsal is Tuesday, October 25th. That’s also our day to premiere our new shirts and take a group photo. There will be a sea of red swag throughout the halls!

Washington Square Date Confirmed and Concert Distinctions

It’s official! We will be boldly proclaiming the birth of our Savior on Thursday evening, December 1st @ 6:00pm. The tradition lives on! For those of you new to Chorale, I’d like to explain the difference between our performance at Washington Square and our complete Christmas Concert at school. Our time at the mall is quick- approx 20-30 minutes of music, including both Chorale and our Jr High Ensemble. At the end of their songs, it has been a joy to carol and worship together with you, the “audience”. Proclaiming Jesus in such a public setting is a moment I look forward to every year. FOR HIS GLORY! It’s fast & fabulous!

Our concert at school, Friday, Dec. 9th, will open with both Chorale & the Ensemble, followed by ALL 5th & 6th grade classes. This festive program of celebration generally runs an hour and 15 minutes maximum. We will also perform an assembly that morning for our student body.

Black pants & shoes needed by Thursday, Dec. 1st.

Both girls and boys will need black pants be worn with Chorale t-shirts at Washington Square and the evening WHCS Christmas Concert. Nice black tennis shoes for boys are fine. Please note students will be in regular school clothes for our morning assembly on Dec 9th. BOY FAMILIES: Your son will also need the “ugliest” Christmas sweater you can muster up in time for our Dec 1st Washington Square performance. I LOVE what I am hearing so far about your hunt!
