3-17-17 Two LK Items for You Today

Greetings Lion King parents! Two items on the agenda for this evening:

1. Mandatory After School Rehearsal is next Tuesday, March 21st, 3:00-4:00pm for the entire cast- ALL 5-6-7-8th graders!

2. Costumes & Parent Help

Rehearsals are rolling along, step by step. There is much to rehearse, so we are stealing extra minutes here, there, and everywhere we can during school hours. Having said that, I must say that our after school rehearsal next week is critical for each of our 92 cast members. We will finally have a chance to be on stage, once the Patriotic Program is cleared. Thank you for making this a priority.

Costume information has already gone out for 5th & 6th graders. Information for 7th & 8th graders is coming. Never fear, Mrs Golsan and her team have got everything under control! Thank you so much to the many parents who are already helping out in so many different ways. I am truly amazed each time a set of costumes or props come in. If you have costuming questions or would like to help in this area, please contact Mrs Golsan at sara.golsan@whcs.org.

After break, we will be asking for more specific help from parent volunteers. Details & sign-ups coming, but be thinking..... locker tag team, make-up team, lunch cast party set-up & clean-up, morning & evening “dressing room” supervisors, dvd table, etc. Thank you ahead of time for your consideration.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. The term is coming to an end and after break, it’s musical month! We want our hearts to remain focused on excellence as unto the Lord. Continue to encourage your son or daughter to “do the work” (practicing lines, lyrics & dances at home). He is worthy of our very best efforts!
