Greetings Winnie the Pooh parents! Six items on the agenda tonight:
1. MANDATORY AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSAL next Tuesday, March 19th, 3:00-5:00pm for the entire 4-5-6-7-8 cast on stage for the first time! There is much to rehearse, so we are stealing extra minutes here, there, and everywhere we can during school hours. Having said that, I must say that our after school rehearsals are most critical. We will finally have a chance to be on stage, now that the Patriotic Program is cleared. Thank you again for making this commitment a priority!
2. PROPS UPDATE We only have left plastic long handled toy rake or hoe & shovels to secure! Thank you to the parents who have donated and lent us the other items already.
3. SET UPDATE
A. We can use a couple more loads of Costco slip sheets, please.
B.CAN YOU HELP TOMORROW, THURSDAY? 1:30-3:00 or as much time as you can spare. We will meet on the stage and need to borrow the box cutters & several (5+) pairs of good quality scissors. We will continue making trees and butcher paper green leafy cloud shapes.
C. Can anyone cut out butcher paper leaf clouds over Spring break?
D. Email Sharie shariejoe@aol.com
4. COSTUMES Final costume information is coming before Spring Break. Never fear, your individual responsibility is very minimal, and Mrs Choi has got everything under control. Thank you to the many parents who have already helped in many ways. If you have costuming questions or would like to help with setting up costume racks, labeling garment bags, etc, please contact Mrs Choi at janethjchoi@gmail.com.
5. PARENT ALERT After break, I will be asking for specific help during the week/weekend surrounding our shows. Details & sign-ups are coming, but be thinking..... locker tag team, make-up team, breakfast cast party food, performance and party set-up & clean-up, morning & evening “dressing room” supervisors, dvd & donation tables, etc. Please hear me on this: although our needs are great, every single job allows you to still watch the performance in full! Thank you ahead of time for your consideration. Parent involvement is critical to our success!
6. PLEASE KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS. The term is soon coming to an end and after break, it’s musical month! We want our hearts to remain focused on excellence as unto the Lord. Continue to encourage your son or daughter to “do the work” (practicing lines, lyrics & dances at home). He is worthy of our very best efforts!
Blessings over your upcoming weekend!
