8-28-17 Attention 5th & 6th Grade Parents!

Hello 5th & 6th grade parents!

Things are gearing up at school, and I must say I am so looking forward to seeing your children! Can you believe how the years fly by? Yay for new adventures and opportunities! Along those lines, I wanted to give you a specific plug for our premiere elementary vocal performance group, Chorale! For 6th graders, this is your last chance to participate! And 5th graders, it’s FINALLY your turn! And for new students, a huge welcome and trust me, you don’t want to miss out!

Chorale meets during the first trimester, performing at the WHCS Christmas Concert and in the community. To make it convenient, we meet primarily during the school day. Rehearsals are once a week during lunch recesses (girls on Mondays/ boys on Thursdays) and ONE Tuesday a month after school (3:05-4:00). All committed 5th & 6th graders are welcome. Dates, detailed information, and registration forms are now available on the WHCS Music Website Chorale page (HERE). Registration forms will also be available at the Open House BBQ and sent home with students. Look for the red sheets!

Parents, it’s always a blessing to work with your children in their general music classes. They are fabulous and I enjoy watching them grow each year. Experiencing Chorale together is frosting on the cake. A big music par-tay! Yes please! Thanks for your consideration.
