CONCERT WEEK: CHORALE DETAILS December 5-9th

JUST THE FACTS:

Wed, Dec. 7th 7:30am BEFORE SCHOOL Tech Rehearsal in Auditorium

Fri, Dec. 9th 7:30am BEFORE SCHOOL WARM UP / 8:30am ASSEMBLY

6:30pm WARM UP IN MUSIC ROOM (Aud Opens) /7:00pm CONCERT

*Please review the following info with your child. I appreciate your time in doing so, as we will all be on the same page :) Thank you!

MONDAY Dec 5 All Chorale at Lunch in Music Room

WEDNESDAY Dec. 7 7:30AM BEFORE SCHOOL

Let me explain why this tech rehearsal is so important. This is our only time to adjust our riser formations, practice getting on & off, set the microphones, set the lights, and fine tune. Thanks ahead of time for making this early sacrifice. Please have students enter through side doors between the gym & auditorium and get ON THE RISERS immediately.

FRIDAY MORNING Dec. 9 7:30AM BEFORE SCHOOL

Kids need to come warmed up, through the north doors again, having chatted a lot already! We will NOT be in Chorale T-shirts, but regular school clothes for the assembly. HOWEVER BOYS: YOU WILL NEED YOUR XMAS SWEATERS FOR THE ASSEMBLY. Please save fresh Chorale shirts for the evening concert. We have very little time to address any last minute changes & details. I beg you not to be late today. Please arrive a bit earlier to put backpack & coats upstairs BEFORE reporting to the auditorium. The all-school assembly starts at 8:30am sharp. Here is the full morning schedule:

7:25-7:35 Arrival/ everything to lockers

7:35-8:10 SOUND CHECK ON RISERS (Chorale & Ensemble)

8:10 Bathroom, Check in with teachers & return to risers asap

8:20 Everyone in start positions (Chorale on risers/ Ensemble gym hall)

8:30-9:15 ASSEMBLY

5/6 Lunch Recess Chorale Party in Music Room

FRIDAY EVENING Dec. 9 6:30 DETAILS

6:20-6:30 Arrive DRESSED IN CHORALE UNIFORM, Drop coats TO LOCKERS BEFORE 6:30pm. Boys- hang on to xmas sweaters!

6:30PM CHORALE/ENS WARM UP/ Praise & Prayer in Music Room (Auditorium Opens)

7:00PM CONCERT Chorale will perform first. They will then exit to the back of the auditorium to line up with their classroom. Chorale students are welcome to throw on a shirt, vest, scarf, etc over their T-shirts for the remainder of the program.

AFTER CONCERT - Students may retrieve coats FROM THEIR LOCKERS.

JUST A COUPLE OTHER TIDBITS:

~Chorale uniforms: shirts are to be worn with black pants or maxi length skirts. Black shoes.

~ I need a parent to man the side doors on Wed and/or Fri mornings please.
