2-26-20 Individual Costume Responsibilities & more!

Hello again Dalmatian families!

We had a very productive rehearsal yesterday after school- thank you for making it possible, particularly during this crazy hoop week! God is gracious!

I want you to know we are wading deeper into the behind-the-scenes preparations for the show. It’s always fun to see how the Lord provides down to our smallest details! Publicity, Costumes, Set, Make Up designs and more are coming together and the work has begun. Shout outs to Mrs Mills, Mrs Proulx, Mr & Mrs Choi, Mr Kotel, Mr Lester, Mr Killian, Mrs Mickel, Mrs Becker, Mrs Willimason, Mrs Bates, Mrs Lyman, Mrs Fruehauf, Mrs McFarland, Mrs Shepard, Mrs Coleman, Mrs Wilson, Mrs McMahon, Snack Donors and PFW Moms, for all you’ve done and are continuing to do. Be assured y’all, there are many more opportunities for parent help to come!

We now have 1.) some general costume preliminary info regarding what will be needed from individuals and 2.) a list of costume/ prop items still needed. Later, we will be asking for parent help making costume accessories, heads up! COSTUME PRELIMINARY INFO:

4/5/6/7/8 More specific costuming/ hair/ makeup info will be given to before break. But for now, here are your individual expectations:

6/7/8 LEADS- We’ve had individual conversations. Please ask your student for details.

4/5/6/7/8 BOYS: Please provide black socks with no markings/ label/ logo.

4/5/6/7/8 GIRLS: Please provide black ankle length, no skin showing leggings and black socks with no markings/ label/ logo.

COSTUME ITEMS STILL LOOKING FOR- Can you help?

• 1. -longer overcoat/ leather jackets (think Horace & Jasper)

  2. -Maid’s outfit; dress, apron, bonnet/ cap (think Nanny)

  3. -White or red boa or fancy hats; Fur coats/accesories (think Cruella)

  4. -2 London bobby/police helmets, badges, club/ baton

  5. -2 tan dog catcher hats, pole w/ loop?

PROP ITEMS STILL NEEDED:

• 1. -Old standing floor lamp (doesn’t need to wrok)

  2. -Dog catcher net (must go over Cruella’s head)
