HAPPY Thursday PIrate Parents!

Why so happy? I’m feeling quite blessed these days to be able to work with such amazing families here at West Hills! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome children with me.

They are truly fabulous!

So much was accomplished Tuesday afternoon during our TECH. Thanks for making it a priority. Much continues to be done behind the scenes with lighting adjustments, stage, costumes and other preparations for next week. All systems are go and I would really appreciate- no, I beg you, to cover it all in prayer. Let’s pray HIS will be done down to the tiniest detail!

HUGE NEEDS- STILL! Unfortunately, I have to ask again. Please email me asap if you’d be willing to assist in the following areas:

• • Taping up locker tags up after school Tues 4/21 (1 more please)

  • 5th grade Dads (AT LEAST ONE) to cover dressing room morn & eve, pre & post show

  • 6/7/8 grade Dads (AT LEAST ONE) to cover dressing rm morn & eve, pre & post show

  • 6/7/8 grade Mom (ONE MORE) to cover dressing room morn & even, pre & post show

Parents, I cannot contain & herd 75 excited students, manage each of their costume bags, get them to the stage & back to class after a 10 minute change, from four different locations in the building at the same time. It’s a safety issue, as well as a sanity issue. Please consider helping me maintain music events that are responsible and respectful of all our students, teachers, etc. Thank you so, so very much!

4/20 MONDAY ALL CAST Rehearsal- Lunch Recess @ 12:25

4/21 TUESDAY 3:00-4:30pm PHOTOS & DRESS REHEARSAL RUN THRU

****BRING COSTUMES IN LABELED BAG TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

4/22 WEDNESDAY 7:00-7:15 Arrival (wearing costumes & bag w/school clothes ready)

7:30 ON STAGE RUN THRU/ SOUND CHECK

8:30-9:15am “Pirates!” Assembly Performance

12:05-12:45 CAST PARTY Lunch provided!

6:30 Cast Call & doors open

7:00 “Pirates!” Performance

4/23 THURSDAY LATE START- HALLELUJAH! SOUND THE TRUMPETS!
