Chris Michael Adams Sr., 42, of Danville, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.Chris was born on November 27, 1972, in Danville, the son of Michael Lee and Elizabeth Frances (Reagan) Adams.He is survived by his mother- Elizabeth (Rick Moore) Reagan of Danville; father- Michael (Connie) Adams of Danville; step-father- Dennis Stewart Martin of Indianola; maternal grandmother- Betty (Ed) Mossey of Monroe, Tennessee; two sons- Christopher Michael Adams II and Levi Garrett Adams both of Danville; mother of his children- Gretchen Adams of Danville; two grandchildren- Oden and Zyler Adams of Danville; three brothers- Donnie (Candace) Martin of Covington, Indiana, Michael Lee Kohl of Florida and Robert Jason Adams of Danville; five sisters- Lori Lynn (Kevin ) Ray of Monroe, Tennessee, Michelle Adams of Florida, Beth (Matt) Jones of Danville, Ashley Adams of Danville and Tessa Moore of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather- Finis Reagan.Chris graduated from North Vermillion High School in 1990. He served in the National Guard for eight years following high school. Chris worked at Freight Car in Danville for several years, as a forklift operator. He attended the Southside Church of the Nazarene in Tilton. Chris enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, fishing, being outdoors and going to Talladega. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Southside Church of the Nazarene in Tilton, with Pastor Kent Pitcher officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow the service in Songer Cemetery in Tilton. Memorials may be made to the family. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home in Hoopeston to assist them in honoring Chris’s life.
