Gary Allan Price, 45, of Danville, died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at USMC, Logan campus.

Gary was born October 25, 1956, in Danville to Russell Willard and Alice Fern Lee Price. He attended Perrysville Grade School, North Vermillion and Danville High Schools. He was currently employed by Garst Seed of Muncie and was a member of Fairview Sportsman Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and especially his family and friends.

Gary married Sandra Louise Gilbert June 29, 1986 in Danville. He is survived by his wife, children: Eric Allan Price, Brandy (Chad) VanCamp, Heather Michelle Price, Michael Scott Sherman, Kristina Marie (Jason) Allison and granddaughter Makayla Marie Sherman, his mother and stepfather, Alice (Lowell) Halfner, a brother: Michael Lee Price, all of Danville; and a brother, Jeffrey Eugene Richardson of Thomasboro; and in-laws: Paul (Nova) Gilbert of Oakwood. He was preceded in death by his father.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lone Oak Church of Christ, 19454 Henning Road in West Danville; Officiating: Chaplin Dane Avery of Mahomet; Cremation will follow; Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday at Pape Memorial Home & Gardens, 10 E. Williams St.
