Mary Lou Boyd, 45, of Terre Haute, went to see Jesus on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at Regional Hospital.
She was born in Danville, Ill., on July 31, 1970, to Imal Leroy Boyd and Carolyn Sue Hathaway. She was a 1989 graduate of North Vermillion High School. She was preceded in death by brother, Eric Boyd, and her father.
Mary was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was always full of life and had an outlook on life that was viewed with an innocent eye. Her inner child would shine bright to all who met her, which touched many lives. She is deeply missed by not only family, but all who met her.
She enjoyed walking her dog, Laya, and taking long bike rides. She also loved to travel and spend time with her daughter and two grandchildren.
Mary was a God-fearing woman who believed God was always the answer. She regularly attended Cross Tabernacle and Maryland Community Church. Throughout the week she also attended Bible study.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Ashley Hall; two grandchildren, Shilo Mae and Gabriel Hall; and mother, Carolyn Hathaway.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Maryland Community Church. All are welcome to celebrate her life and to share memories.
