Rudolph, David D.

Newport, Ind. - David D. Rudolph, 46, of Newport and formerly of Perrysville, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at 6:18 a.m. CDT in Danville, Illinois from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

He was born January 12, 1968 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Richard L. and Ellen J. Self Rudolph.

Survivors include his three daughters, Katelyn Smith; Kaleigh Rudolph and Kammie Rudolph all of Newport, Indiana; two sisters, Shannon(Kenneth)Thomason and Jill Self both of Newport, Indiana; two brothers, Chris(Amber)Rudolph of Gessie, Indiana and Michael "R.C."(Wendy Troop)Rudolph of Cayuga, Indiana.

David was a forklift operator at McLane's in Danville for the past eighteen years. He was a 1986 graduate of North Vermillion High School. David was very big Indiana University Basketball/Bobby Knight fan. He enjoyed NASCAR and cheering on his favorite driver Rusty Wallace before he retired. David also enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and participating in derbies. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and most of all with his three daughters.

Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at DeVerter Funeal Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor John Hawkins and Keith Warner; Burial: Helts Prairie Cemetery north of Clinton, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Condolences:
