Dear John,
How is it going? I’m doing very well but one situation blew my mind recently.
You know, I have an old digital camera and I thought I could sell it to get some money to buy books.
As you know, I’m very lazy and don’t like leaving home once again so I decided to sell it on the Internet.
I found an auction site where anyone can sell and buy anything.
I registered and started a new deal hopping to sell my camera at a possibly higher price.
I made a really persuasive ad and started to wait customers.
However, the moderator stopped my deal because I hadn’t added photos of the camera.
When I added them she wanted me to translate my ad to Spanish because the site appeared to be bilingual.
When I finished to decorate my ad enough to her I was really angry.
Then I waited and waited and waited but no one seemed to be interested in my camera.
Five days later, when I was close to despair of the deal, a buyer appeared.
He sended me his cheque but it bouced by the bank and I prayed that I hadn’t sended him my camera.
Of course I complained to the web site but they said that they couldn’t control buyers so I understood their message as “help youself by your own when you gonna get drowned” and closed the deal.
Anywhere, I hope selling my camera from the sofa so I need your advice.
Have you ever try to sell anything on the web?
If yes, drop in on me tomorrow.
Hope to see you soon! Take care!
All the best,
Slava

Update 1
Dear John,
How are you going? I’m fine.
But I'm going to tell about a situation that recently blew my mind.
As you know, I have an old digital camera and I thought I could sell it to get some money to buy books on and decided to sell it on the Internet through an auction site where anyone can sell and buy anything.
I registered the camera as a new item hoping to sell it at a maximum price.
I made a really persuasive ad and started to wait the customers.
However, the moderator blocked my item because I hadn’t added any photos of the camera.
When I attached them she wanted me to translate my ad into Spanish because the site appeared to be bilingual.
When I completed my ad with everything to make her happy I was really angry.
Then I waited and waited and waited but no one seemed to be interested in the camera.
Five days later, when I was almost desperate about the deal, a buyer appeared.
He sended me his cheque but it bounced so I was fortunate that I hadn’t sent him the camera.
Of course I complained to the web site but they said that they didn’t control buyers so I got their message as “a stitch in time saves nine” and withdrew the item.
Anyway, I hope selling the camera on the Internet so I need your advice.
Have you ever try to sell anything on the web?
If you have, come over tomorrow.
Hope to see you soon! Take care!
