Look at these two well-known sentences:
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
Love means never having to say you’re sorry.
And answer the questions:
1. Do you know where each one comes from?
The first sentence is the name of Elton John's song.
The second sentence is a phrase from the old famous movie Love Story.
2. Do you think they are wise saying or not?
I think this Elton John's song is about an one-way love.
So the one whom loves the second one has to choose taking the love or refusing it.
Saying sorry is the hardest word because it seems to prefer refusing the love and it is a faint-hearted action.
This means that you can take no responsibilty in interpersonal relationship.
This means you're coward.
On the first thought the second sentence means that if you love you'll never hurt your love object hence you'll never need to use the word.
But it's obvious that the one you love is the one you can hurt more easily than a stranger.
So I think that this slogan is misinformation.
3. In what ways could saying sorry be powerful?
Some people think that saying sorry is weakness.
They won't acknowledge their mistakes because they think it's vulnerability.
I think they do that because of peer pressure that encourages others to change their attitudes, values, or behaviors to conform the groupnorms.
Acknowledging oneself's mistake is considering oneself in the group's opinion as a weak link while instincts make the group to clear off weak links.
In fact a negation of saying sorry speaks that the person really is a weak link because to be self-righteous and arrogant is a way to shelter one's low self-rating.
To sum up I would like to say that saying sorry is always powerful.

3. In what ways could saying sorry be powerful?
Some people think that saying sorry is a demonstration of one's emotional weakness.
They won't acknowledge their mistakes because they believe that it's vulnerability.
I think they do that because of peer pressure that encourages others to change their attitudes, values, or behavioral habits to conform the groupnorms.
Acknowledging one's own mistakes is considering oneself in the group's opinion as a weak link while instincts make the group terminate weak links.
In fact a negation of saying sorry speaks that the person really is a weak link because to be self-righteous and arrogant is a way to shelter one's low self-esteem.
To sum up I would like to say that saying sorry is always powerful.
