У Тоши был серебристый Порш Бокстер 2003 года выпуска. Тоши очень любил свою машину и ездил на ней только в булочную, поэтому автомобиль был почти как новый, прошел всего лишь 15 тысяч миль.

Однажды Бокстера угнали.

Тоши был очень расстроен и зол, но это не помешало ему мыслить ясно.

Он подумал, что если угонщик продал машину, то есть шанс найти её в магазине подержанных автомобилей.

Тоши сел за компьютер и начал поиск в Интернет.

Он начал с того, что нашел всех дилеров подержанных автомобилей в городе. Их было довольно много.

Потом он поискал у них в наличии Порше, как назло треть дилеров заявляли о наличии Порше в продаже.

Тогда Тоши указал год выпуска, цвет и пробег своего автомобиля.

На этот раз результат поиска был всего один.

Тоши поехал по указанному адресу и осмотрел машину.

Он сразу узнал свой Порш по малозаметной царапине на двери.

Тоши позвонил в полицию и через два дня опять катался на своем Порше.

Toshi lives in Tokyo, Japan. But he doesn't drive a Japanese car. He drives a German car - a 2003 Porsche. It is a silver sports car, and it is almost new. It has only 15,000 kilometers on it. Toshi loves his car!

One day a thief steals Toshi's car. Toshi is angry. He wants his car back! Toshi thinks about his car. Where is it? Is the thief driving it? Probably not/ Probably the thief sold it - maybe to a used-car dealer.

Toshi goes to his computer and gets on the Internet. He clicks on "Shop: Autos." Then he clicks on "Used Cars."

Toshi types in "Posche" and "Tokyo." He gets 92 hits: Used-car dealers in Tokyo have 92 Porsches for sale.

Next, Toshi types in "Year: 2003." He gets 20 hits: Used-cars dealers in Tokyo have four silver 2003 Porsches for sale.

Then Toshi types in "with 15,000 kilometers." He getsone hit: Only one used-car dealer in Tokyo has a silver 2003 Porsche with 15,000 kilometers on it.

Toshi goes to the used-car dealer and looks at the silver Porsche. Toshi remembers that his car has a small scratch. Does this car have a small scratch? Yes, it does! This is Toshi's car. He is sure of it/ He calls the police.

Two days later, Toshi is driving his silver Porsche again.
