Margaret's funeral was on Maundy Thursday in 2014. It was 17th April that year. Easter is always a bit strange for us because Maundy Thursday always feels like an anniversary, even though it isn't exactly, and because Easter moves around, sometimes the anniversary of her death comes after that of her funeral! This year, it's all the more surreal wth us all being locked down at home and Lucy locked down in Liverpool, and the worry of Aunty Dot probably having COVID-19 (although without having been tested there's an outside chance it could be something else). Oh well! The sun was shining, so we got out and did some more work in the garden. It hasn't been so tidy for years! And Jonah has been plugging away at his memoirs. He can dictate chunks using voice-recognition software, but then it's hard graft for him editing out the typos and revising it. I've offered to help, but I don't think he trusts me not to make changes to his carefully-crafted prose!
