The football season has started, and Liverpool and Everton both had success today. Stan will have to wait for tomorrow to find out how his beloved Newcastle get on against West Ham. The shock result of the season so far was Brentford’s victory over the mighty Arsenal yesterday. (TBH I hadn’t even noticed that Brentford had been promoted to the Premier League!) I wonder if they’ll follow in the footsteps of Leicester and race to the top of the table in their promotion year (although of course I hope they don’t overtake the Merseysiders!).
