Andy finally gave in to Jonah’s pestering and put his name down for the Inspector’s exam today. As soon as she heard about it, Monica signed up too. Personally, I suspect that she’s more likely to pass. Because she’s very good at pushing herself when she can see that it’s going to further her career, and she’s probably more academic than Andy – at least in the narrow sense of absorbing lots of information. Whether there’ll be an inspector’s job for either of them if they do pass is another matter!
