Johns is back, thank goodness! I briefed him on the KM case and then took him to have another look around the area. We met the priest who’s in charge of that RC church, when we called there to have another look at that “den” round the back. He told us that Kevin used to belong to a Boys’ Club that he runs there, but he’d been asked to leave when he turned 20, because none of the other boys were over 15 and the parents thought it was peculiar him still coming. Johns said that it seemed a pity, and couldn’t he have stayed on as one of the helpers, but Fr. O’Leary said that wouldn’t have satisfied the parents.
