Boris says that 19th July is “looking good” for ending all COVID-19 restrictions. Deaths are bumping along at a steady rate, but cases are rising. So, for me, the question is: will this rise in cases feed through into hospitalisations and ultimately deaths or are so many people vaccinated now that nobody much will get seriously ill and the NHS will be able to cope?
