Rang Mum this evening to arrange to call round. She didn’t seem very keen to see me, but she’s agreed I can call tomorrow afternoon. I must get some flowers to take and try to think of a nice present for her.
The suspicious death has turned into a murder investigation - or a potential murder at least. Porter and I had a packed day interviewing friends and family of the deceased. they claim he never took drugs, but parents often don't know about these things. DS MacBride has been transferred to my team to help out, seeing as Johns is still on leave and he didn't have a lot on.
