What a day! All but one of the Premier League matches have been postponed because of players going down with COVID. So far, Liverpool’s match against Spurs is still on for tomorrow, but who knows? Today’s Burnley – Aston Villa match was only put off 2 hours before it was due to kick off.
In other news, I was up before dawn (not difficult at this time of year) and made it to Liverpool before lunchtime. We’re both safely back home now – all ready to batten down the hatches as cases of the omicron variant continue to soar.
