Nobody's been feeling much like playing April Fool's jokes today! The jump in the number of deaths per day and the death of a 13-year-old have put us all in a rather sombre mood.
When I heard about the Care Home in Wavertree, where two thirds of the residents are showing symptoms of COVID-19, my first thought was of Aunty Dot. I quickly discovered that it's not her home, although it must be fairly near to it. I'm really glad that she has that iPad of hers, becasue it means that we can talk to her face-to-face even though we're 150 miles away and the Care home is closed to visitors in any case. She seems to be bearing up surprisingly well - but then she always did enjoy a good crisis!
