Bernie didn’t seem as pleased about going back as I’d expected. I suppose she must be apprehensive about sleeping in the place where she was attacked. I hope it doesn’t bring on a recurrence of the nightmares. It was odd the way they stopped so suddenly before. I hid one of her computer discs down the back of the sofa while she wasn’t looking this afternoon. It’ll give me an excuse to call round in a few days to see how she is. I know she wouldn’t want me calling just to check that she’s OK.
