63 today! Peter excelled himself with my birthday cake yesterday – all in Liverpool colours and with an edible photograph of the Liver Building on the top. Ricky thought it was wonderful and is demanded a cake with a picture on it for his next birthday. Lucy has taken half of it back to Liverpool to share with her housemates. It was almost like old times, having Eddie and the family round for my birthday tea. Stan and Sylvia were there too – it was a real family reunion. The Oxford part of the family, that is. Maybe it’s time to consider a trip to Liverpool to see Joey and the rest of them. We’ve got so used to being careful and not meeting anyone that it’ll feel quite strange to be going off visiting again!
