Back in court again today. The prosecution finished their case and the defence began theirs. We had an Expert Witness who testified to the possibility that the footwear mark in the Whittles’ hall did not belong to Shane Butler. Of course that’s possible, but it begs the question, who did it belong to? Who else was in their hall that day? (And Mrs Whittle declared under oath that she had cleaned that floor the previous night, so it had to be that day.)
