It’s been confirmed that it was terrorism and several people have been arrested. There’s also been a controlled explosion in Sefton Park. I can’t think of a single previous bombing in Liverpool. I hope it’s not a sign of things to come. Poor Mariam doesn’t need this on top of everything else. And there’s still no news as to whether it was Islamist terrorists or some other faction. In the absence of hard facts, people are bound to speculate …
