This is the family website for the inhabitants and friends of "Llanwrda" - the house where Detective Superintendent Richard Paige grew up and where his widow and daughter still live. Lucy drew the picture on the left to show you what the house looks like. It's a big old house on the outskirts of Oxford and it's the base from which most of our adventures start.

Why Llanwrda? Richard's maternal grandmother was from Wales and, when her husband became wealthy enough to have a new house built for his family (back in the early years of the 20th century), he named it after the village where she grew up.

You can get to know us by reading the books which Judy Ford has written about us. The A Good Read page gives you the links you need to find them. We hope that you'll also find this website interesting. We've all tried to contribute something, but it isn't nearly complete yet, so keep a look out for updates.
