Nathan is staying with us while Peter’s up in Leeds. I can’t deny that looking after Jonah single-handed isn’t really feasible. Maybe it’s that I’m getting older, but I’m realising more and more how much we used to rely on Lucy’s help with him. Georgia can’t stay, because it would disrupt Rachel’s schooling. She only started this term, so it’s important not to disturb her routine. But they both came over at the weekend to drop Nathan off and see “Granddad Jonah”. Rachel is certainly becoming quite grown-up now! She’s very proud of her school uniform and insisted on wearing on Sunday morning, so we could see how smart she looked.
