There’s a deathly hush in the streets tonight … England is playing Denmark in the semi-finals of the Euros. I can’t drum up much enthusiasm myself. England supporters are too closely associate with the rabid right these days to give me any desire to be associated with them. I’m all for plucky Denmark bringing off a surprise victory despite being without their star player, but we shall see … Even if England win, what chances do they have against Italy in the final?
