We certainly had an interesting time talking with Hibaaq and her friends this afternoon. She'd brought Tahira and Olivia along as well - which delighted both Dot and Jonah. Aunty Dot missed her vocation as a police investigator! She wormed out lots of information about Mohammed Shaladi, the student who drive a van into a group of pedestrians back in the Autumn. They all knew him slightly and told us that they liked him and they couldn't understand why he would do such a thing. I'm not sure it has any bearing on the present case, but it certainly makes you wonder ...
Jonah has got his way (whoever thought he might not!) and we are staying until Saturday to help Sandra Latham with her enquiries. Peter has to go back to Oxford to look after Ricky and Abigail, so he'll be heading back down there on the train tomorrow morning. I'm not sure that this plan is wise, but it will keep Jonah quiet and I have to admit I'll be quite pleased to be around for the next few days to keep an eye on Lucy. This whole business has been quite traumatic for everyone and I know she'd never admit to not being able to cope.
