We're making slow progress with Peter's private investigation. That's partly because he's been on grandfather duty, which means that he hasn't had much time to devote to the task. Jonah's done a lot of trawling through the newspaper reports and the police files that Paul gave us, but nothing much has shown up. He's also been busy with other things, because he was committed to some filming for a publicity campaign that Design Ability is going to be running. Paul has managed to come up with some info about a possible lead, but he's beng cagey about passing on her contact details because she's only recently been discharged from a mental health unit and he's worried that being asked questions about her relationship with the victim could be damaging to her.
Crystal is off duty tomorrow, so we're all off to Evesham again to talk to Vanessa (that's the accused) and her family and also to visit the solicitor's firm where her husband (the victim) worked. Jonah rang them and spun a yarn about wanting to make his will. I hope they won't be too annoyed to discover that it was a trick!
