I went up to Liverpool today to fetch Lucy back for the summer. Normally, I'd have taken two days (or more) over it and stayed over, but under the current circumstances we're keeping interactions with people outside our household to a minimum. It was a long day, but at least Lucy was able to share the driving on the way back.
COVID cases were rising for the last few days. Is this just because we're testing more people? Or has the relaxation of restrictions caused a real increase? I hope we don't end up back in another lockdown when it comes to time for Lucy to go back in September!
