Jonah was supposed to be off-duty today, but, of course, he couldn’t let the case rest. So, he’s been pestering Andy over the phone for news on how they’re getting on with trawling through missing persons files from the last forty years. I’m more concerned with getting the car packed ready for me to drive up to Liverpool to collect Lucy. I’m doing the trip on my own this time, partly to avoid any unnecessary travel during the pandemic, but also because there isn’t anyone else to look after Jonah, Normally, Nathan would come over or we could get agency staff in, at a pinch. But we don’t want to mix with anyone that we don’t have to at the moment.
