Indoor or outdoor playing area
Print '3D shapes cards' and cut each card out individually, also cutting the name off the shape (ensure you print enough copies for there to be one net per student)
Mark a playing area
The aim of this activity is to find a peer with the matching name and object.
Teacher gives each student a card (either the name of an object card or the image of an object card).
Teacher calls out a locomotor skill for students to use to move around marked space.
When whistle is blown students must move to find a student with a matching card.
Teacher collects playing cards and redistributes to play again, naming different locomotor skills each time.
1 card between 2 students
Play with fewer cards.
Change the locomotor movement
